Refund policy

OVERVIEW

At World Jewerly USA Corp, we are committed to your satisfaction with every purchase. Should you need a refund or exchange, we offer a simple process within 7 days of purchase, provided the item is in its original condition. Please note that certain items, including custom, made-to-order, or personalized products, are not eligible for refund or exchange. For full details on eligibility and conditions, we encourage you to continue reading the policy below.

 

SECTION 1 - ELIGIBILITY FOR RETURNS

We gladly accept returns and exchanges for in-stock items within 7 days of purchase, provided they have not been altered or customized during the purchase process. To be eligible, the item must be in its original, unworn condition. Please note that any product customized or modified at the customer’s request is considered a final sale and is not eligible for return or exchange. Loose emeralds have a 3 day return policy. 

 

SECTION 2 - RETURN CONDITIONS

To be eligible for a return, all in-stock jewelry items must be returned in their original, unworn condition. This includes returning the item in its original packaging, along with any certification or documentation that accompanied the purchase. Any missing components may result in a reduced refund amount. 

For loose emeralds, the gemstones must be returned in their original, undamaged condition. Any signs of scratches, chips, or breakage will render the return ineligible. We are not liable for any damage that occurs once the gemstone has been delivered to you, and it must be returned in the same condition as when it was originally shipped. We reserve the right to inspect all returned items before processing any refunds or exchanges. The sender of any item returned is fully responsible for any returned packages. 

 

SECTION 3 - NON-ELIGIBLE RETURNS

Certain items are not eligible for returns or exchanges due to their personalized nature. These include:

  • Customized Jewelry:Any item that has been modified or altered at the customer’s request, such as changes to gold purity, setting adjustments, gemstone alterations, or additional resizing beyond the complimentary one.

 

  • Custom-Made Jewelry:Items specifically designed and crafted according to your unique specifications.

 

  • Made-to-Order Items:Jewelry recreated using similar gemstones to the original listing. While the setting remains the same, the gemstones will be the closest match available and may differ from the original photos. As these involve unique sourcing, they are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.

These items are considered final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. We encourage you to review your customizations and made-to-order requests carefully before completing your purchase.

 

SECTION 4 - RETURN PROCESS

To initiate a return, clients must contact our customer service within the return window for eligible items only. Please refer to Section 1of our Return Policy for details on which items are eligible. Clients are responsible for all return shipping costs and must ensure the item is securely packaged in its original condition, including all documentation and packaging. We recommend using an insured, trackable shipping method, as we are not liable or responsible for any damage, VATs, or loss during transit.

Once the item is received, our team will inspect it to confirm it meets our return conditions. If approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method or an exchange arranged. Refunds may take 3-10 business days to reflect in your account.

For international returns, please ensure the return package is clearly marked as "Returned Merchandise" to avoid any customs charges. Customers are responsible for all duties, taxes, and shipping costs for international returns.

 

SECTION 5 - EXCHANGES

We offer exchanges exclusively for items that are defective or damaged upon receipt. If you receive a product that meets this criteria and would like to exchange it for the same item, please contact our customer service team within 7 days of receiving your order to initiate the exchange process. All items must be returned in their original condition, including packaging and any accompanying documentation. Once we have confirmed the defect or damage, we will promptly process the exchange. Please note that exchanges are subject to product availability.

 

SECTION 6 - MADE-TO-ORDER ITEMS

Our made-to-order items are custom-crafted based on designs listed on our website. While the setting and overall design will match the original listing exactly, the gemstones used will vary. Please note that you will not receive the exact gemstones pictured. Instead, we meticulously select gemstones that closely resemble the original in terms of color, clarity, carat weight, and other important characteristics. However, due to the inherently unique nature of gemstones—particularly emeralds—there will always be some natural variation. No two emeralds are ever identical, which is important to keep in mind when purchasing a made-to-order item. The setting will remain consistent, but the gemstones will differ within the range of similar qualities.

These items are specially made upon your request, and as such, they are final sale with no option for refund or exchange. Once the order is placed, you have exactly 24 hours to cancel the purchase if necessary. After this initial 24-hour period, a 10% restocking fee will apply if you choose to cancel your order within 36 hours of purchase. After 36 hours, cancellations will no longer be accepted, as the crafting process will have begun and the materials will have been allocated specifically for your item.

We strongly recommend that you review your order carefully before finalizing your purchase to ensure that all preferences and expectations are met.

 

SECTION 7 - CUSTOM MADE JEWELRY 

Custom-made jewelry is designed and crafted specifically for you, making it a final sale that is not eligible for exchanges or refunds. We aim to make the custom process straightforward and transparent. After providing a quote for your custom piece, a 50% deposit is required to begin work on the CAD (Computer-Aided Design) renderings and crafting.

The CAD renders allow you to visualize your custom jewelry before it is made. You are entitled to up to three CAD revisionsto ensure the design is exactly how you want it. If additional revisions are required beyond the initial three, there will be an additional fee for each new revision. These revisions are intended to give you full control over the design before the crafting process begins.

If, at any point during the CAD rendering stage, you decide to cancel the custom project, you may do so. However, please note that 10% of your initial deposit is non-refundableto cover the time and resources spent on designing and creating the renders.

Once you have approved the final CAD rendersand given confirmation to proceed with crafting, the design is locked in and cannot be changed. At this stage, the 50% deposit becomes non-refundable, as the crafting process will have begun and materials will have been allocated specifically for your piece.

We strongly recommend reviewing each stage of the custom design carefully, as once the final CAD is approved, the order cannot be altered or canceled. By investing in custom-made jewelry, you are receiving a one-of-a-kind piece tailored to your specifications, making it a truly unique creation.

 

SECTION 8 - REPAIRS 

We are pleased to offer repair and alteration services for jewelry purchased directly from World Jewerly USA Corp. Whether you need resizing, resetting, or repairs to damaged pieces, we provide a wide range of services to keep your jewelry in pristine condition. Please note that all repairs and alterations are subject to a fee, which varies depending on the type of service required. To learn more about the specific repair services we offer and to receive pricing details, please contact our customer service team. We are happy to assist and provide a full breakdown of the options available to you.

While we take every precaution to ensure the highest quality of repair work, JR Colombian Emeralds is not liable for any unfortunate eventsor accidental damage that may occur as a result of using our repair services. Certain services, such as resizing or resetting, involve inherent risks that are properly disclosed beforehand. By proceeding with these services, clients acknowledge and accept any risks associated with the repair process. We strongly advise clients to carefully consider these risks before opting for services that could affect the structural integrity of their jewelry.

 

SECTION 9 - WARRANTY 

We offer a one-year warrantyon our jewelry, covering craftsmanship-related issues such as securing gemstones in their original setting. This warranty also includes the replacement of up to five diamonds, each 2.5mm in size or smaller, at no additional cost within the warranty period. This coverage ensures that your jewelry’s craftsmanship meets the highest standards and provides you with peace of mind for the first year of ownership.

Please note, however, that this warranty does not cover any of our loose gemstones, including emeralds. Loose gemstones are sold as is, and JR Colombian Emeralds is not liable for any wear and tear, damage, or mishandling that may occur after purchase. We strongly recommend that all clients insure their jewelry after purchase, as insurance will protect against loss, theft, damage, and any wear and tear not covered by our warranty.

Our warranty is voided in cases where third-party jewelers have performed repairs or alterations, as we cannot guarantee the quality of work performed by others. Additionally, our warranty does not cover damage due to accidents, misuse, or neglect by the client. To maintain the longevity of your jewelry, we encourage regular care and maintenance, which our team can assist with.
